Scripps Ranch Seniors Can Age Comfortably in their Own Homes

Scripps Ranch seniors enjoy their community’s blissful serenity as much as anyone. Between the beautiful hills, the numerous eucalyptus trees and most importantly, the friendly, neighborly activities – including the 4th of July parade and the Symphony in the Park summer concerts at Hoyt Park – Scripps Ranch is a lovely place to spend the retirement years. If these elderly residents need some assistance while living in this north county oasis, then Love 2 Live Care is ready to step in and help in any way possible.

Award-Winning Senior Care Scripps Ranch Families Rely On

We at Love 2 Live Care Services make it possible for Scripps Ranch seniors to remain in their homes by providing caregivers that assist with whatever is needed. Whether it’s after-surgery care, meal planning/preparation, transportation to doctor visits and grocery stores, or even just friendly companionship, Love 2 Live Care Services has trained and pleasant caregivers who are more than ready to assist the elderly in Scripps Ranch as needed.

Family-owned and operated, Love 2 Live Care Services was founded by Sheila Korn, who personally manages every caregiver-client match. Her heartfelt involvement is the reason Love 2 Live Care Services has won and placed in the San Diego Union Tribune’s “Best of San Diego” reader’s poll in the Home Eldercare category five times now! With 12 years in the industry, our fully-trained staff will gladly customize services as needed. We’ll also increase or decrease these services, according to the requests of the client and his or her family.

Scripps Ranch Seniors Can Fully Enjoy Everything Scripps Ranch Offers

Even if a senior in Scripps Ranch has physical therapy or speech therapy limitations, he or she still deserves to get outside, and soak in everything the wooded neighborhood offers. Some of the wonderful Scripps Ranch activities that Love 2 Live Care Services can help the elderly participate in include:

Scripps Ranch 50 Plus Events: Scripps Ranch 50 Plus, a volunteer-run organization for Scripps Ranch’s elderly residents, organizes not only recurring activities specifically for seniors, but day trips, theatre nights and much more. Check out their many fun events by logging onto www.scrippsranch50plus.org.

Scripps Miramar Ranch Library Center: This library not only sits beside a tranquil duck pond full of turtles and more creatures, it also offers plenty of senior-specific classes. On Mondays there is a “Tai Chi for Seniors” class at 1:30 pm, on Tuesdays there is a “Fun Fitness for 55+” class at 1:30 pm, and on Wednesdays there is a “Silver Age Yoga” class at 3 pm. There are also many senior-centric lectures, music performances, and more. The library is at 10301 Scripps Lake Drive, or call 858-538-8158.

Water Aerobics Classes at the Swim and Racquet Club: For a non-impact pool exercise that is perfect for senior citizens, try out these Aquafit classes at the Scripps Ranch Swim and Racquet Club, located at 9875 Aviary Drive. You can also call 858-271-6222. The classes are held Monday through Saturday at 9 am, and are not only good for overall blood circulation, but also provide great opportunities to socialize with other seniors who enjoy getting fit while immersed in water.
