We wanted everyone to know about a wonderful event we will be participating in this Friday. The Caregiver Coalition (caregivercoalitionsd.org) is a grouping of organizations and businesses that have come together to provide resources and support for caregivers throughout the San Diego county. We meet on a regular basis to collectively create educational events for the San Diego community as they relate to caregiving and successful aging.
The coalition is hosting an event this Friday, April 12 at the College Ave. Baptist Church (details below). The focus of this event is “Finding the Balance in Caregiving.” Some of the presentations will cover topics such as: Understanding Memory Loss and Dementia; Managing the Emotional Aspects of Caregiving; and Conversations About Driving and Transportation Options. Love 2 Live will be represented at this event. We hope you are able to attend so you can learn from successful aging experts within the San Diego community.
