This past month, we were pleased to attend the birthday celebration of our eldest Love 2 Live client. We have been privileged to provide quality and consistent home care for Dr. Trude since the fall of 2016.
At 108 years old, it is truly inspirational to see Dr. Trude thriving and living each day to the fullest!
To say she has achieved great success despite overcoming extreme hardships in her life would be an incredible understatement.
This remarkable lady endured prejudice as a Jewish immigrant from Germany (escaping the Holocaust), and later as a rare woman doctor in Depression-era America.
A close friend recently remarked that she believes Dr. Trude’s great ability to adapt to her surroundings is what’s led to her resilience and lifelong happiness.
When asked how she persevered through the difficult challenges encountered throughout her lifetime, Dr. Trude’s simple but poignant answer has been, “I got used to it.”
We think 108 looks good on you, Dr. Trude. Happy Birthday!
