Friday, July 25th

DANNY ELFMAN MUSIC FROM TIM BURTON FILMS
Price: $25
Danny Elfman and Tim Burton represent one of the most successful composer/director collaborations in Hollywood history. This new orchestra event features Danny Elfman’s famous film scores brought to life on stage by orchestra, enhanced by visuals on the big screen of Tim Burton’s original film sketches, drawings and storyboards.

Tango on the Beach
Price: Donation
Enjoy summer dancing together at the beach.
It will take place in an outdoor pavilion in Oceanside just across from the beach at Sunset. There will be Tango Music, Light Snacks & an introduction to Tango Lesson.

Old Fashioned Family Days
Price: Free
The all-new Old Fashioned Family Days. Families and children of all ages are invited to play games, participate in old-fashioned themed activities, and enjoy the living history that Old Poway Park offers.

Saturday, July 26th

Summer Pops – Star Trek
San Diego Symphony

Venue: Embarcadero Marina Park South
If you’re shut out of Comic-Con on Saturday night, come down to the Embarcadero for a wide screen showing of the highly successful J. J. Abrams 2009 Star Trek film reboot featuring the San Diego Symphony performing the soundtrack live

SDYS International Youth Symphony Concert
San Diego Youth Symphony & Conservatory
Price: $10-$25
Venue: California Center for the Arts
SDYS’ International Youth Symphony perform at the California Center for the Arts, Center Theater, in Escondido. This is the only concert where these talented young musicians will perform works by celebrated composers in a concert hall venue.

Daybreak at Del Mar
Del Mar Racetrack

Early risers may enjoy morning workouts and breakfast in the Clubhouse Terrace Restaurant every Saturday and Sunday during the season. From 7:30 to 9:30 a.m., visitors will be able to view morning workouts, dine in the open-air restaurant and learn behind the scenes info from Jeff Bloom, former jockey and event announcer. Bloom keeps fans informed of notable workers on the track, answers questions and offers racing tips.

Sunday, July 27th

A day in the Park
El Caballo Park Conservancy

Join us for a Day In El Caballo Park. Pony rides for children, booths from local organizations, including Daley Ranch, The Children’s Museum, Project Wildlife, Hoofs and Woofs, Vaqueros, Tim Smith and many more. Food and lots of fun!

The Summer months are bringing a plethora of beauty and excitement to the Rancho Santa Fe Farmers Market. Explore all of our new vendors and fresh, vibrant produce this Sunday at the Market!

FAMILY CONCERT SERIES: BOO HOO CREW

Family and children of all ages are invited to attend this free event where families can also enjoy small crafts and sweet treats. Clint Perry & the Boo Hoo Crew will perform.
